Meet the Team
Our Mission
As educators we hear, think of, and test out new ideas every single day. Unlike those who write our curriculum, tests, and materials, we do not deal in the theoretical. We put theories into action.
We're two fifth grade teachers here to test, talk about, and share those ideas and our successes (and failures) in turning those "theories" into "really-s".
A Brief History
At first we were colleagues, teammates who often saw eye-to-eye on issues we faced throughout the day. With very different backgrounds, work experiences, and teaching styles we still managed to find a common teaching philosophy. Our "quick chats" slowly grew into extensive, unending discussions until eventually we decided that maybe other people would be interested in what we have to say.
